Connected Home provides Control4 automation, lighting control and network infrastructure, with audio cabling installed ready for a future multi-room audio upgrade. Connected Home+ includes the core smart-home infrastructure alongside a fully installed multi-room audio system. Both packages are designed to provide a clearly specified technology solution for new-build properties.

Our Connected Home packages start from £8,995 excluding VAT for a three-bedroom property, with Connected Home+ packages available from £11,950 excluding VAT. Pricing varies according to property size and the level of technology included. We can also discuss tailored specifications for individual properties and larger developments.

Each package includes its specified Control4 equipment, lighting control and network components, together with the relevant equipment rack and system configuration. The precise inclusions vary by package. We provide a detailed specification so developers can understand the equipment supplied, the infrastructure required and the responsibilities of their electrical contractor before work begins.

The developer's electrical contractor is generally responsible for installing the structured cabling, speaker wiring and other agreed first-fix infrastructure in accordance with our drawings and specifications. AudioConcept can provide technical guidance and coordinate requirements with the project team. Responsibilities are confirmed for each project before installation begins.

Yes. Our standard packages provide a starting point for specification and budgeting, but requirements can vary according to the property layout, lighting circuits, audio zones and network demands. We can discuss amendments to the standard specification or develop a tailored solution for properties with different requirements.

Yes. The Connected Home package includes audio pre-wiring, allowing a compatible multi-room audio system to be added later, subject to the installed infrastructure and final system design. This gives developers the option to provide the necessary cabling at the build stage without including the full audio system in the initial specification.

Ideally, we should be involved during the design and specification stage, before electrical layouts and first-fix cabling are finalised. Early involvement allows us to plan equipment locations, network infrastructure, lighting control and speaker wiring, helping reduce the risk of costly changes later in the build.

Yes. We can provide structured cabling schedules and marked-up floor plans showing proposed locations for network points, televisions, speakers, CCTV cameras and WiFi access points. Our separate smart-home design package starts from £540 ex VAT, subject to the agreed scope and requirements.

Yes. Depending on the agreed package and project scope, AudioConcept supplies and configures the specified equipment, programmes the Control4 system and commissions the installation. We confirm the division of responsibilities between AudioConcept, the electrical contractor and other trades before work begins.

Yes. We can provide homeowner handover, guidance on using the system and ongoing technical support. Maintenance and upgrade options are also available to help keep the installation operating as intended after completion.

Yes. We can discuss technology specifications for individual homes or multi-property developments, helping establish a consistent standard of provision across the project. The package, pricing, installation arrangements and commissioning requirements can be agreed around the development schedule and the requirements of each property.
