Control4 CORE 1 Controller

The controller includes an HDMI 2.0a output supporting resolutions up to 4K (3840 × 2160 at 60Hz) with HDCP 2.2, enabling a graphical on-screen interface for system control and navigation.

Audio outputs include both HDMI audio and digital coaxial output, allowing the CORE 1 to deliver high-quality audio to an AV receiver, amplifier or distributed audio system. The built-in Ryff high-resolution audio server supports playback up to 24-bit / 192 kHz and enables two simultaneous audio streams.

The system supports a wide range of audio formats including FLAC, ALAC, WAV, MP3 and AAC and can stream music from services such as Spotify, TIDAL, TuneIn and other compatible platforms.

To integrate with home entertainment and automation hardware, the CORE 1 provides multiple control interfaces:

• 4 IR outputs for controlling televisions, Blu-ray players and other IR-based devices
  
• 2 serial (RS-232) ports (shared with IR ports 1 and 2) for advanced device control
  
• Front IR receiver for learning and receiving IR commands
  
• IP control over Ethernet for network-enabled devices such as streaming players and AV receivers
  
• Zigbee wireless connectivity for Control4 remotes and smart home devices
  
  This wide range of control protocols allows the controller to integrate with thousands of compatible AV and smart-home products.

The CORE 1 includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one supporting PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) and the other acting as a network switch port for connecting additional devices locally.

Additional connectivity features include:
USB port for external storage or optional Wi-Fi adapter, external Zigbee antenna for wireless device communication and an optional dual-band Wi-Fi adapter for wireless networking
