Control4 Halo Touch Remote

The Halo Touch is built on an ARM Cortex-A7 single-core processor running at 720 MHz, supported by a Cortex-M4 co-processor that handles background tasks and power management. This architecture enables fast interface navigation, responsive media browsing and reliable communication with the Control4 system.

The remote communicates directly with the Control4 controller using dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, ensuring stable system interaction and two-way communication with devices and automation scenes.

Within a Control4 installation, the Halo Touch serves as a universal control device capable of managing a wide range of connected technologies, including:

• Televisions, media players and AV receivers

• Lighting and lighting scenes
  
• Motorised blinds and shading
  
• Climate control and thermostats
  
• Security and surveillance systems
  

Users can also activate custom automation scenes that adjust multiple devices simultaneously, such as dimming lights and starting a movie or switching music zones throughout the home.

The Halo Touch uses dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) with dual diversity antennas, delivering strong wireless performance and improved reliability compared with earlier Control4 remotes.

The remote communicates with the Control4 system through the home network, eliminating the need for line-of-sight control while enabling full two-way feedback from the automation platform.
