The Control4 Lux Keypad Dimmer Switch is a smart lighting control device that combines adaptive dimming and a programmable keypad interface in a single wall-mounted unit. Designed for Control4 smart-home systems, it replaces a traditional light switch while enabling lighting control, scene activation and automation from one device.
The integrated dimmer supports a wide range of lighting technologies including LED, incandescent, halogen, electronic low-voltage (ELV) and magnetic low-voltage (MLV) loads. Using adaptive phase dimming, the device automatically selects the appropriate dimming method to ensure stable performance and reduce flickering. The keypad can be configured with two to seven buttons, allowing custom engraving and flexible layouts. These buttons can trigger lighting scenes, control connected devices or activate automation routines within the Control4 system.
The Lux Keypad Dimmer Switch communicates with the Control4 platform using Zigbee wireless networking, enabling seamless integration with controllers, touchscreens and the Control4 mobile app. Its premium design and customisable faceplates allow it to blend with modern interiors while providing advanced lighting and smart-home control.
