The Sonance C6R SST Stereo Ceiling Speaker is a versatile architectural in-ceiling speaker designed to deliver true stereo sound from a single discreet location. Ideal for smaller rooms where installing a pair of speakers isn't practical, the C6R SST combines dual tweeters with a dual voice coil woofer to reproduce both left and right audio channels from one speaker. At the heart of the C6R SST is a 6.5-inch polypropylene dual voice coil woofer paired with two independently driven 1-inch Ferrofluid-cooled cloth dome tweeters. This dedicated stereo configuration produces a surprisingly spacious soundstage from a single ceiling speaker, delivering clear vocals, detailed high frequencies and controlled bass response. The pivoting tweeters can be angled towards the listening area to improve stereo imaging and provide more accurate sound distribution throughout the room.
Designed for fast, professional installation, the C6R SST incorporates Sonance's proven RotoLock® mounting system for secure installation into both new-build and retrofit ceilings.
