The Steinway Lyngdorf Model C is a high-end floorstanding dipole loudspeaker system designed to recreate the realism of live music through a fully integrated audio approach. It combines open-baffle acoustics, digital signal processing and external bass management to deliver exceptional clarity, precision, and spatial depth. Its dipole design radiates sound forward and backward, reducing cabinet coloration and creating a more natural, three-dimensional soundstage. Rather than operating as a full-range speaker, the Model C is dedicated to midrange and high-frequency reproduction, where detail and tonal accuracy are most critical.
Low frequencies are handled by separate boundary woofers, allowing the system to achieve cleaner mids, more transparent highs and deeper, better-controlled bass.
