The Triad IC82 DT is an 8-inch dual-tweeter in-ceiling speaker from Triad’s Distributed Audio Series, engineered to deliver refined, full-range sound with enhanced stereo detail from a single enclosure. It combines a reinforced poly-mica woofer with dual aimable Tetoron-dome tweeters and a woofer with dual voice coils, enabling a single speaker to produce a broader soundfield that’s particularly effective in smaller rooms or for stereo listening without multiple units.
Designed for distributed audio systems and whole-home installations, the IC82 DT shares voice-matched characteristics with other Series 2 speakers, making it easy to mix and match models while maintaining consistent tonal quality throughout a space. Its low-profile, frameless magnetic grille provides clean visual integration and traditional Triad mounting hardware simplifies installation.
