The Triad PDX IC84 DTS is an 8-inch stereo in-ceiling loudspeaker designed to deliver wide, immersive stereo sound from a single ceiling-mounted unit. Part of Triad’s PDX Series, it combines refined acoustic tuning with advanced driver design to create a broader soundfield and enhanced imaging, ideal where space is limited or independent left/right speakers aren’t practical.
At the core of the IC84 DTS is an 8″ woven-cone woofer with dual voice coils paired with dual aimable 1″ tweeters, allowing the speaker to reproduce a stereo soundstage with balanced lows, clear mids and detailed highs. By integrating stereo audio within one enclosure, the IC84 DTS expands perceived width and depth without additional cabinets, making it well suited to whole-home audio systems, background music, media spaces, and distributed audio applications.
Triad’s acoustic design ensures consistent dispersion and tonal balance across the listening area. Installation is simplified with Push Lock by Swarm toolless mounting hardware for quick, secure fitting and optional rear enclosures help improve acoustic performance and reduce sound transmission to adjacent rooms. The low-profile, paintable grille allows for clean visual integration with the ceiling.
