The Monitor Audio W1M is a versatile in-wall speaker from the Creator Series, delivering impressive sound quality from a discreet, space-saving design. Ideal for whole-home audio, media rooms and architectural installations, it combines refined acoustics with elegant integration to provide a rich, balanced and engaging listening experience without compromising your interior design.
Its two-way driver configuration features dual 5-inch C-CAM bass/midrange drivers and a 1-inch C-CAM tweeter with Monitor Audio's UD Waveguide I technology. Together, they deliver deep, controlled bass, articulate vocals and detailed high frequencies across a wide 40Hz to 30kHz frequency range, ensuring consistent, room-filling performance for both music and movie soundtracks.
With generous power handling and a naturally balanced sound, the W1M is equally suited to premium whole-home audio systems, dedicated media rooms and commercial environments where discreet architectural speakers are preferred. Combining dependable performance, elegant aesthetics and Monitor Audio's renowned engineering, the W1M is an excellent choice for projects requiring high-quality in-wall audio with seamless integration.
Two 5-inch C-CAM mid-bass drivers work alongside a dedicated tweeter to reproduce clear midrange detail and high frequencies from a discreet in-wall speaker.
Pair the W1M with suitable amplification to distribute music throughout your home, with the option of incorporating it into a Control4 or compatible Sonos-based system.
Monitor Audio's Quik-Link connector and Tri-Grip II mounting system help simplify speaker connections and secure installation.
Designed with installation in mind, the W1M incorporates Monitor Audio's Quik-Link cable connector for faster, more reliable wiring, while the Tri-Grip II mounting system ensures a secure, vibration-resistant installation. These features simplify installation without compromising long-term reliability.
At AudioConcept, we recommend the Monitor Audio W1M for projects where discreet in-wall installation is important, but a little more driver capability is desirable than a compact single-driver design can offer. Its dual 5-inch C-CAM mid-bass drivers make it a strong option for living spaces, larger rooms and multi-room audio systems where clear, balanced sound is a priority. For bedrooms, hallways, home offices and other spaces where a more compact solution is sufficient, the W1M-E is also worth considering. Both speakers offer a discreet architectural finish, with the right choice depending on the room, listening requirements and overall system design.
As with any in-wall speaker, we recommend planning the speaker positions, wall construction and amplification before installation. AudioConcept can help you choose the right model and incorporate it into a carefully designed multi-room audio or smart home system.
Monitor Audio Creator Series speakers offer a range of high-quality audio solutions designed for versatile applications. These speakers feature advanced C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminum/Magnesium) drivers, including mid-bass drivers and tweeters, which provide exceptional sound clarity and detail. Creator Series speakers are ideal for both residential and commercial installations.
Enjoy music throughout your home with Monitor Audio ceiling speakers, discreetly integrated into your interior. Listen to different music in different rooms or enjoy the same soundtrack throughout your home, with a system designed around your rooms, listening preferences and lifestyle. AudioConcept can help you choose the right speakers and amplification for a complete multi-room audio installation.
