The Monitor Audio W2M is a premium in-wall speaker from the Creator Series, delivering exceptional clarity, detail and dynamic performance from a discreet, space-saving design. Ideal for luxury whole-home audio, media rooms and architectural installations, it combines advanced acoustic engineering with elegant integration to produce a rich, natural and immersive listening experience.
Its sophisticated three-way design features dual 5-inch RST II bass drivers, a dedicated 3-inch RST II midrange driver and a 1-inch C-CAM tweeter with Monitor Audio's UD Waveguide II technology. Together, these advanced drivers deliver deep, controlled bass, articulate vocals and detailed high frequencies across an impressive 40Hz to 35kHz frequency range, ensuring balanced, room-filling sound for both music and home cinema applications.
With a nominal 6-ohm impedance and 87dB sensitivity, the W2M offers refined, natural sound with excellent clarity and dynamics. Installation is equally well considered, featuring Monitor Audio's Quik-Link cable connector for faster, more reliable wiring and the Tri-Grip II mounting system for a secure, vibration-resistant fit. The result is a premium in-wall speaker that combines outstanding acoustic performance with effortless installation and discreet architectural styling.
Dedicated bass, midrange and high-frequency drivers are designed to deliver detailed music reproduction and clear vocal presentation.
Two 5-inch bass drivers provide the low-frequency foundation for a full-range in-wall speaker, without taking up floor or shelf space.
When paired with compatible amplification, the W2M can form part of a distributed audio system controlled through a suitable smart home or multi-room platform.
Designed with installation in mind, the W2M incorporates Monitor Audio's Quik-Link cable connector for faster, more reliable wiring, while the Tri-Grip II mounting system ensures a secure, vibration-resistant installation. These features simplify installation without compromising long-term reliability.
At AudioConcept, we recommend the Monitor Audio W2M for projects where a discreet in-wall speaker is required without compromising on the quality of the audio system. Its three-way design, with dedicated bass, midrange and high-frequency drivers, makes it a strong candidate for premium multi-room audio installations, larger living spaces and selected home entertainment applications.
Compared with the W1M, the W2M offers a more elaborate driver configuration and sits higher in the Creator Series range. For customers planning audio throughout the home, it is worth considering in the rooms where sound quality is a particular priority, while a different model may be more appropriate for smaller or less demanding spaces.
Monitor Audio Creator Series speakers offer a range of high-quality audio solutions designed for versatile applications. These speakers feature advanced C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminum/Magnesium) drivers, including mid-bass drivers and tweeters, which provide exceptional sound clarity and detail. Creator Series speakers are ideal for both residential and commercial installations.
