The Monitor Audio C2M is a premium in-ceiling speaker from the Creator Series, designed to deliver exceptional sound quality while blending seamlessly into modern residential and commercial interiors. Combining advanced RST II driver technology with a discreet, low-profile design, the C2M is an ideal choice for larger living spaces, media rooms and premium whole-home audio systems where outstanding performance and refined aesthetics are equally important.
At the heart of the C2M is a high-performance 7-inch RST II (Rigid Surface Technology II) C-CAM bass/midrange driver, paired with a precision 1-inch C-CAM tweeter featuring Monitor Audio's UD Waveguide II technology. This advanced driver combination delivers greater rigidity, reduced distortion and wide, even sound dispersion, producing deep, controlled bass, detailed midrange and exceptionally clear high frequencies throughout the listening area.
With a frequency response extending from 35Hz to 35kHz, 86dB sensitivity and power handling of 75W RMS (150W peak), the C2M delivers impressive dynamics and effortless clarity across a wide range of listening levels. Whether streaming high-resolution music, enhancing television audio or forming part of a high-performance home cinema system, it produces balanced, room-filling sound with remarkable precision and scale.
Part of Monitor Audio’s Tier 2 design, intended for installations where enhanced acoustic performance is a priority.
Designed to support detailed high-frequency reproduction and sound dispersion.
Can be used with compatible amplification in suitably designed multi-room audio and home cinema systems.
Designed with installation in mind, the C2M incorporates Monitor Audio's Quik-Link cable connector for faster, more reliable wiring, while the Tri-Grip II mounting system ensures a secure, vibration-resistant installation in a wide variety of ceiling constructions. These innovative features simplify installation without compromising long-term reliability.
The Monitor Audio C2M is worth considering for residential audio installations where the additional features of the Creator Series Tier 2 range are important. Its 7-inch RST II mid-bass driver, C-CAM tweeter and discreet installation make it a versatile option for living spaces, kitchens and media rooms. Compared with the C1M, the C2M uses a different mid-bass driver technology and a UD Waveguide II tweeter design, while retaining the same 7-inch driver size. The right choice depends on your listening preferences, installation requirements and overall system budget.
